PHARMACEUTICAL

Shire Plant

About Project

The construction of multinational pharmaceutical company, Shire’s new state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing campus in County Meath. The project on the 120-acre site involved extensive enabling works, base build and fit-out of the facility for Shire (now Takeda). The new campus at Piercetown includes a new warehouse, laboratory, administration, canteen and manufacturing building.

The base build phase included construction of the main head-block facility with an 8,500m/sq footprint comprising three buildings — production/CUB, a warehouse and LAC buildings (labs, accommodation and canteen), along with ancillary satellite buildings.
