Please give a brief overview of your role at DCT.

My current role at DCT is Digital Construction Management (DCM) Technician. I am responsible for the BIM coordination of projects in the design and construction stages, ensuring clash-free and coordinated model delivery, BIM document development, and supporting our clients to stay on top of their programmes. Currently, I am working on a Data Centre in the construction stage, where I have taken on the role of a Lead BIM Coordinator.

When did you join DCT and what led you to this role?

I joined DCT in April 2022. The reason why I pursued joining DCT was because I wanted to experience the versatility and suspense of the construction industry. On the other hand, I always wanted to work in a company that could enhance my professional development and progress.

What excites you the most about working in the BIM/Digital Construction sector?

The dynamics are the most exciting part of working in the BIM/DC sector. Not a single day or week is the same as the previous one. This provides me with a constant opportunity to learn and evolve, as well as to embrace the challenges and changes I am met with regularly.  

What’s your favourite thing about working with DCT?

My favourite thing about working with DCT is definitely the people and the company culture. It is a community full of support, motivation, acceptance and encouragement. The atmosphere on the team is really laid-back and positive, which makes dealing with stress in our industry a lot easier.
